Motivation to develop independent research ideas while contributing meaningfully to shared research goals.
Research opportunities depend on the alignment of interests, qualifications, admission eligibility, and funding availability.
Schedule a Meeting
Prospective students, postdoctoral researchers, collaborators, and others interested in discussing potential research opportunities are welcome to schedule a one-on-one meeting.
Please use the calendar below to select a convenient available time. When scheduling, include a brief note describing the purpose of the meeting. After you choose a time, you will receive a Zoom confirmation with the meeting details.
Application Fee Support for Prospective Students
Applying to graduate school can be financially difficult for some talented students. If you are interested in working with my research group at Auburn University but cannot afford the graduate application fee, limited application-fee support may be available.
To be considered, please upload a single PDF file that includes:
CV or resume
A complete transcript (unofficial copies are acceptable)
A brief personal statement of purpose describing your research interests and fit with my group
A short cover letter explaining your financial situation
Please email the PDF with the subject line:
Application Fee Support – [Your Full Name]
Requests will be reviewed based on academic preparation, research potential, fit with the group, and financial need. Selected applicants will receive instructions about the next steps for applying to Auburn University.
Because support is limited, submitting materials does not guarantee fee assistance, admission, or funding.
